Voicemail

Meridian mail is a computer based telephone system used by Cambridgeshire Police to send voice messages to Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators. It is used for urgent messages, therefore this information should be passed to scheme members as soon as possible.

Your telephone will ring, when you pick up the receiver you will hear:

Hello, you have a message from…….

The message will be played twice, but you may stop the message at any time by pressing #

Start of message.

The person passing the message will announce him/herself and then say the message.

Details of motor vehicles for reasons of clarity are usually said using the phonetic alphabet

The call is at no cost to the recipient.
