Don't keep your Neighbourhood Watch Schemes a secret - let
everyone know about it. Once your Scheme is running, you will have put in a
lot of effort and will have an achievement to be proud of.
Tell the local papers. Tell the parish magazine. Put up posters in your
windows. Put stickers on your doors and on your marked property. Let nobody
come through your neighbourhood without them knowing that they are passing
through a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme. Make sure you tell everybody. This
way, you will also be telling the person who will be the one most interested
of all in your Neighbourhood Watch scheme - the Criminal.
